I'm a huge fan of recording video on the smartphone. The technology inherent in these devices has far outpaced dedicated alterntives for years on end. I'll even go as far as to say that the quality of the media that these things produce exceeds the more expensive, dedicated, alternatives. As happy as I've been with the results it is hard to ignore the advances that are realized with the addition of the anamorphic lens. I've added the Moment product to my arsenal to see what it can do for the footage that I'm shooting.
